Joar has been working at Cordemeyer & Slager since May 2025. He received his Master\u2019s Degree in Information Law from the University of Amsterdam in 2023. During his studies, Joar focused on IT-related fields of law, while being active at a legal clinic specialised in intellectual property, IT and privacy. He also was a legal intern in the field of information law at various law firms.<\/p>\n

Upon completing his degree, Joar worked at a leading academic hospital in Los Angeles where he offered legal advice on privacy and intellectual property on the commercialisation of medical innovation. In addition, Joar worked as a cyber- and privacy consultant at a consultancy firm, being an advisor for diverse organisations on digital risks and compliance.<\/p>\n

In his free time, Joar can regularly be found at the gym or cooking for friends and family.
